computeIT™ is a multi-bay modular locker system designed to store safely and charge & deploy laptops and other similar devices to users via a 19’’ touch screen interface. Individual user bays are the optimum size to store most makes and models of laptop, netbook, PC tablet or iPads and offer a safe charging environment for access by users of all ages.

Available from 12 bays, the computeIT™ modular locker system can be tailored to suit the users needs. With its steel chassis and doors, computeIT™ is an extremely secure centralised location to entrust with valued mobile ICT equipment, providing effective crime prevention as well as ICT management.

computeIT™ is available with a range of charging options. With full independent CE Certification, power to computeIT™ the unit is entirely safe for customer use and is fully temperature controlled to ensure all devices are kept cool during the charging process.

The holdIT™ automated self-service reservations kiosk facilitates extended library opening hours by providing a self service reservations collection point that can be positioned in either internal or external conditions.

The holdIT™ automated self-service reservations kiosk allows library staff to remotely load lockers with reservation items with our loaning application. Just scan the item in the application. holdIT™ allocates a locker and prints a receipt with a barcode – the receipt will indicate the items and locker number. Once a trolley is full of items ready to be loaded into the holdIT the staff member has to just scan the barcode on the receipt that is attached to the reserved item and it will automatically unlock the correct locker, place the item in and close the door.

The user will simply scan their user card and the screen will display the items, the user accepts and the locker is opened and the items are issued .

If the holdIT™ is used for issuing other items the software is like a self-check system. However the user would select the item they wish to borrow and the system would issue the item and unlock the door. The item would be issued via SIP2 in a library. However if not in a library we would supply our own database or connect to a third party database (third party database connections will be an extra cost).

lendIT™ is the latest product from D-Tech which dispenses items to library patrons anywhere in your service area. This could be in your local hospital, train or bus stations, government office buildings, community centres, malls and shopping centres; locations are only limited by your imagination!

lendIT™ can hold up to one thousand items consisting of books, CD’s and DVDs.

lendIT™ is available in modules ranging from 200-400 and 1000 items.

lendIT™ is ergonomic and environmentally friendly. Designed and manufactured with a low carbon footprint, the unit is also styled to meet ergonomic guidelines. Its modular design allows for easy add on options such as payments for usage and/or fines and fees.

Special care has been taken to make lendIT™ easy for staff to load and retrieve items returned to the unit.

The functionality to return items outside of standard library open hours is a modern service offering that is in the interest of both customers and libraries. returnIT™ integrates with the library LMS and discharges the items from the user record. The items are collected in one or more of our media-friendly book bins.

The returnIT™ is a fully automated book return machine. It is designed to offer a superior service when returning library items, reduce queues and waiting times and to free up library staff from returns transactions. The system sorts items into different categories easily.

Sorting can be configured to suit the libraries needs and budgets from single bin to 2, 3, 5 or 30 bins, the system is designed so you can add a module as many times as you like. More than one feed can be implemented to speed up the return process.

The returnIT™ can easily be built into existing interior walls and enables the user to quickly return items. Whenever a user places an item in the slot, returnIT™ automatically recognises whether it belongs to your library, opens the hatch and checks in the item. When it does not recognize the library item, the hatch remains closed.
