The Kirtas Archive Scanner 3.0 (KAS 3.0) adapts to your needs with a flexible, modular design. It can be equipped with either an industrial-quality camera or a single digital lens reflex camera (Canon or Nikon). Over time, you can easily upgrade or replace the camera, lens, or PC to keep the system up to date—protecting your investment.
Its modular architecture allows simple, cost-effective adjustments for new projects or materials. The LED light table and high-quality macro lens enable precise digitization of transparent documents such as slides and film strips, delivering resolutions up to 600 dpi.
By adjusting the camera height, finely detailed objects can be digitized at the same high resolution as text. The adjustable camera head can be positioned close to or beside the object, reducing light intensity—ideal for capturing coins, medals, and other reflective surfaces with enhanced detail.
For highlighting watermarks or minimizing shadows, objects can be placed directly on the LED light table. Integrated with Multidotscan software, the KAS 3.0 ensures accurate camera positioning, consistent resolution, and reproducible results for recurring templates.
